Linah Farms' Halal Medjool dates from Egypt's Bahareya Oasis, imported directly to Singapore.

At Linah Farms, the dates are left to take their time. Slow-ripened under the generous sun of the Bahareya Oasis, handpicked when the moment is right — the result is a Medjool that's plump and yielding, with a deep caramel sweetness that comes entirely from the fruit itself. No additives. No shortcuts. Just one of Egypt's finest things, brought directly to your table in Singapore.

Our Medjool dates are Grade A Premium, the highest grade awarded, meaning large, plump fruit with an intact skin, soft texture, and rich flavour, sorted to the strictest size and appearance standards. Each shipment also carries a Certificate of Origin, verifying the dates are genuinely Egyptian and traceable back to their source.

They are also independently tested by laboratories accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Across multiple samples from each lot, we screen for pesticide residues using the EN 15662 multi-residue method, test for heavy metals by atomic absorption spectrometry, and check for foodborne pathogens and aflatoxins.

The results: Grade A Premium medjool dates, certified Egyptian origin, no pesticide residues detected, no lead, cadmium or mercury detected, and no Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli or aflatoxins detected.

Why this matters: Quality is about more than taste, especially for dried fruit that travels a long way from grove to shelf. Checking the grade, verifying the origin, and testing every lot for contaminants, is how we know our dates are as clean as they are delicious.

Slow-ripened in the oasis, sweet by nature.

Linah Farms grows Medjool dates in the Bahareya Oasis, deep in Egypt's Western Desert. The dates come down only when they're ready, slow-ripened on the palm, handpicked by the family that grows them.

Storage & use

Keep it well,use it freely.

Keep it

A cool, dark cupboard is all they need, and they are at their best at room temperature, where the caramel softness comes through. Keep them in the fridge if you'd like them to last even longer.

Shelf life

Around 12 months from packing, kept properly. Each box carries a best-before date, so you always know where you stand.

How to use

Beautiful on their own with strong black coffee. Stuff them with a walnut or a little soft cheese; tear them into a tagine or a slow-cooked stew; or chop them into baking where they replace refined sugar entirely. A few alongside aged hard cheese closes a meal quietly.
